Congress 2020

WELCOME WORDS

Dear colleagues and friends,

We would like to cordially invite you to be part of the upcoming ESER Annual Scientific Meeting. The congress will take place in Brussels (Belgium) on Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19, 2020.
The ESER’s mission is to train radiologists in imaging of specific acute pathologies and the organisation of emergency imaging for all community and hospital radiologists. Of course, residents are highly encouraged to attend these days.
The organisation will offer an interesting programme with very high-level participation of all Belgian University Hospitals supplemented with excellent faculty from all over Europe and North America.

In 2020, we would like to welcome you to the historical capital of Europe, Brussels. The heart of Europe is very reachable from all parts of Europe, by plane, train or car.
The congress venue will be at the green Humanities, Science & Engineering campus of the Free University of Brussels (VUB), only a few kilometers from the Grand Place in the city center. The university campus is easily accessible from the airport (15km) and the Brussels city center by public transport.
The Brussels capital district offers you a wide variety of cultural, historical, architectural, gastronomical, European and night-life adventures. We invite you to enjoy the vibrant weekend life in this fascinating city.

The day after the congress, September 20, the whole capital district will be car-free during the car-free-Sunday. Public transportation will be for free (except from and to the airport) – an explicit chance to discover all opportunities of the city of Brussels and the Capital District.
We look forward to welcoming you in Brussels!

Sincerely yours,
Koenraad (Hans) Nieboer, ESER 2020 Congress President
Elizabeth Dick, ESER Society President
